City of Joondalup

Our Youth Workers visit community locations where young people are known to hang out and feel comfortable (e.g. skate parks, shopping centres and train stations). They then provide young people with valuable information on topics such as drugs and alcohol, mental health, education and safe sex so that young people can make informed decisions and connect with the appropriate services.

City of Wanneroo

As well as providing young people with valuable information when they are out in the community, our City of Wanneroo Outreach Service offers young people the opportunity to participate in activities such as BBQs and skate comps. A Youth Worker is also available to case manage at-risk young people living within the City of Wanneroo to help them address issues such as homelessness, mental health and domestic violence.

Off the Streets

This program aims to reduce anti-social and offending behaviour among 13-17 year olds in the northern suburbs. Our Youth Workers engage young people who have been identified as at-risk by local police, education providers, youth workers and the Department for Child Protection and Family Support.

As a spike in anti-social behaviour can be seen during the last week of each school holidays, Off the Streets offers young people the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities during the last week of each school holiday period. The activities focus on building life skills, resilience and personal development.
