Run in partnership with St Patrick’s Community Support Centre in Fremantle, Youth Place provides supported housing to young people aged 15 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They are able to stay for up to a year after which time they are referred to longer-term housing provided they can demonstrate adequate independent living skills.
Young people transitioning into longer-term housing are supported for a further 12 months through an outreach service to ensure they thrive in reaching their goals. As with each of Youth Futures’ transitional accommodation programs, all Youth Place clients receive intensive support from a Youth Worker to help them reach their goals and secure future accommodation.
Youth Place also offers emergency relief.
To make a referral, call 9475 2978 (Mon-Fri, 8 am – 4 pm). Any referrals from a third party must be made with consent from the young person.
